Changelog
What's new in FirstDistro
Monthly releases — features, improvements, and fixes.
September 2026
Features
- Catch/Save morning digest in Slack. Connected workspaces get the same Save priorities as home in your alerts channel, with Send, Not now, and Open account on each row.
Improvements
- Send from Slack opens a filled email draft in your mail client. Mark sent when you have hit send so cooldown and Activity stay in sync with the dashboard.
August 2026
Features
- Copy a prompt from the homepage to install FirstDistro. The install docs are a procedure an agent can run. Connecting Cursor or Claude is a separate step: MCP init now writes the editor config for you.
- Server-side events and one Install screen. Track from your backend as well as the browser. Install once from the CLI, a prompt, or Cursor MCP, then watch both in one live feed. Event settings has milestone templates for B2B SaaS, fintech, and gaming.
- Self-serve is open again, with a free plan plus Pro for unlimited accounts.
Improvements
- Slack in Settings now connects with a Slack app and a public channel picker, instead of pasting a webhook. Existing webhook connections keep working until you connect the app.
July 2026
Features
- Dollarize your book from Stripe — connect billing so FirstDistro can put real ARR on accounts, prioritize what to save by revenue, and show coverage of how much of Stripe is linked.
June 2026
Features
- Action playbooks on customer detail — step-by-step checklists for rescue, renewal, champion risk, expansion, and inactivity when an account needs attention.
- Zero-config SDK — call `setup()` once; page views and key events start flowing without custom wiring.
- MCP server 1.3.0 — expanded CS and CRM tools for AI assistants in Claude and Cursor.
- Developer handoff by email — sales-led teams can kick off SDK installs from the dashboard.
Improvements
- Health Score v2 — exponential recency decay (7-day half-life) with weights tuned to catch quiet accounts sooner.
- Faster customer profiles — scoped CRM sync and leaner detail queries.
- Incremental CRM sync for Attio and HubSpot — ongoing syncs pull only what changed.
- Dashboard anticipation shell — clearer empty state while waiting for first SDK events.
- Fewer redundant auth and dashboard API calls on initial load.
Fixes
- Attio incremental sync for workspaces without `updated_at`.
- CRM sync watermark advances only on successful syncs.
- CRM stale-claim backoff — prevents workers retrying the same failed sync indefinitely.
May 2026
Features
